BELLA (Devonia’s La Vita E’ Bella)

Bella in 2008

Bella was born on the 3rd May 2006 to Quirino with Devonia (Sire) and Sara with Devonia (Dam) she was one of five puppies two males and 3 females. This is my only litter of 5 to date. I had decided to keep a female puppy and was closely watching to see which one I would keep. My decision was an easy one, not because of following breed standard, because they all fitted the standard perfectly, but it was her personality that swayed me. She was so full on with her temperament, very inquisitive and naughty into the bargain. (I like a challenge!!). It was impossible to resist letting her into our hearts, and so the story of her show successes began.

Bella was a little difficult to train (which is unlike a Bolognese) as she had such a mind of her own, we were at training classes weekly until she would learn to stand on Four legs instead of two, even now at the age she is, she will still jump from standing into my arms without warning.

Bella will at the end of 2011 be going into semi-retirement in order to make way for a new show bitch, but will occasionally make the odd appearance at shows as she enjoys it so much.
